Rasgulla is very much liked in sweets. It is also known as Rosogola in the local dialect, this cold and cold dessert steeped in sugar syrup brings mouth watering as soon as it is seen. 
Use cow's milk to make better rasgulla. Fat milk of any brand can also be used.

  • 2-liter milk full cream
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Half a teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • One and a half teaspoon arrowroot
  • 4 cups of sugar
  • 2 to 3 cups of water


      Rasgulla Recipe Method

Heat the milk in a heavy-bottomed utensil.

After the milk starts boiling, turn off the gas. When the milk cools down, add lemon juice in it and stir with a large spoon.

- When the milk is full. Then filter it in a clean cloth and pour cold water over it. This will prevent the taste of lemon in rasgullas.

Now tie the cloth and press it well, so that all the water of the cracked milk is removed. Paneer is ready for rasgullas.

After this, take out the cheese in a plate and mash it well with grated or hands and knead it like a dough and make it smooth.

Then mix the arrowroot in the cheese and mash it for 5 to 7 minutes and knead it like a smooth dough. In this way prepare the mixture to make rasgulla.

Now take a small portion of the mixture in your hands, give it a round shape, prepare small balls, and keep them on a plate.

When the balls are ready with all the ingredients, then cover them with a wet cloth.
To make sugar syrup of rasgullas, put sugar and 2 to 3 cups of water in a pan and keep it hot on the gas.

After the syrup comes to a boil, put the prepared rasgulla in the plate. Cover the pan with a plate.
Cook rasgulla and sugar syrup for 18 to 20 minutes on high flame. 

After some time the sugar syrup will start to thicken, then keep pouring water little by little with a big spoon. in mind that sugar syrup always comes to a boil.

In this way, just add 1 to 2 cups of water in the syrup, and mix cardamom powder in it for fragrance. After cooking rasgulla, it will become double-flowered, then turn off the gas.

 Delicious Rasgulla is ready. 


Serve after freezing in the fridge. It can be served as a dessert after dinner or as a dessert with lunch.
