Indian Chicken Masala Recipe

Ingredients:

For Marination:

500 grams boneless chicken, cut into cubes

1/2 cup yogurt (curd)

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

For the Masala:

2 tablespoons oil

1 large onion, finely chopped

2 tomatoes, pureed

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 green chilies, slit (adjust to your spice preference)

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon red stew powder (adapt to your zing tendency)

1 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander leaves, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

Marinate the Chicken:

In a bowl, combine the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.

Add the chicken parts of the marinade and coat them well. Cover the bowl and allow it to marinate for somewhere around 30 minutes in the cooler.

Prepare the Masala:

Heat oil in a huge skillet or dish over medium intensity.
