Ingredients:

For Litti:

2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)

1/2 cup ghee or oil

1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)

1 teaspoon salt

Water as needed


For Stuffing:

1 cup roasted gram flour (sattu)

1 medium-sized onion finely chopped

2-3 green chilies finely chopped

2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)

1 teaspoon kalonji (nigella seeds)

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon mustard oil


For Chokha:

2 medium-sized potatoes

1 large eggplant

2-3 tomatoes finely chopped

2-3 green chilies finely chopped

2 tablespoons mustard oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Start by preparing the dough for the little. In a mixing bowl combine the whole wheat flour carom seeds salt and ghee or oil. Mix well until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add water gradually and knead until the dough is firm. Cover it and give it 30 minutes to rest.


Meanwhile prepare the stuffing for the litti. Form a smooth ball by gently rolling it between your palms. With the remaining dough and stuffing, continue this procedure.
