The soft paneer is roasted in ghee with spices in a blanched spinach gravy to make restaurant-style spinach cheese.

Spinach cheese is very nutritious because we put both spinach and paneer in it.

Spinach Paneer is a very popular curry (vegetable) of North India, whose mouth is watery upon hearing its name. 

Serve it with paneer parathas to enjoy the good taste of nutritious spinach cheese.

      Palak paneer recipe material: 


  • 1 large puri or 4 cups chopped spinach
  • 1/2 cup Paneer (sliced   into 1/2 inch square pieces)
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 1-2 small green chilies, finely chopped after removing the seeds
  • 1/2 inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 1/2 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cream
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala (if you want)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons + oil or ghee for frying
  • Salt, as per taste


 Palak paneer recipe method 


* To remove the soil on spinach leaves, wash them thoroughly in water and clean them and cut them into small pieces. Boil the spinach in salted water for 3 to 4 minutes.

* Sieve the boiled spinach with a sieve.

* Immediately pour it in cold water and leave it for 1 minute. Sieve more water later.

* Now make a puree by grinding blanched spinach, ginger, green chilies and 1/4 cup of water in a mixer.

 * Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Fry the paneer pieces on medium heat until they turn light brown. If there is more oil in the fried paneer, then put them on the kitchen paper napkin to absorb more oil.

* Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a separate pan on low heat. Add finely chopped onions and cook until light brown. Now add ground garlic and keep mixing the mixture for 18-25 seconds.

* Add the spinach puree, garam masala, and salt and mix the mixture and cook for a while.

* Add 1/3 cup of water, mix well and cook on low heat till it boils. Keep mixing it with a spoon for a short time in between.

* When the gravy starts boiling add fried paneer and cook for 4-5 minutes.

* Add lemon juice and Kasuri methi and mix well. Now tie the gas and mix by adding cream.

* Take out the hot vegetable in a serving bowl and serve it with roti, plain paratha, or butter naan.

Palak paneer recipe suggestion


If you want to increase the amount of gravy, then add more water add spices as per taste.

To make the cottage cheese soft, after frying, immerse it in hot water for 10 minutes.

If you want to make low-calorie vegetables, then use paneer without frying it.

Ways to serve

You can also serve it with boiled rice, cumin rice, and cucumber salad.
