Ingredients Rajma Masala (Beans) 

  • Rajma (Beans) soaked overnight 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Onion finely chopped 2 medium
  • Ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander powder 2 teaspoons
  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Tomato / Tomato Puree 1/2 cup
  • Garam Masala Powder 1 1/2
  • Fresh coriander chopped 1 tablespoon


Method

* Drain the beans into a pressure cooker, add 5 cups of water and salt and cover and cook until the pressure is 4-5 whistles.

* Then filter, and keep cooked water also. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the onions and fry until lightly golden.

* Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.

* Now add coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Add tomato puree and mix and fry for 3-4 minutes.

* Now add Rajma (Beans) and mix. Add a cup of cooked water and salt and mix.

*  Mash the beans a little and mix well.

* Now add garam masala powder and mix and cook for 5-10 minutes. Serve hot garnished with green coriander.


the combination of rice with rajma is most preferred, but you can also serve it with roti, naan or casserole if you want. 

Even with cumin rice, Rajma's (Beans"s) test looks good. This is the perfect lunch or dinner recipe 

that you can make on Sunday when all the family members are together.
